Meet Dr. Newsom Baker

Dr. Newsom Baker attended Bethel College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Magna cum Laude. He continued on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, and his Master of Science in Orthodontics from the University of Tennessee Graduate Orthodontics Department.

In the past, Dr. Baker has served as the President of the University of Tennessee Orthodontic Alumni Association, Tennessee Association of Orthodontists, Second District Dental Society, and the Blount County Dental Society. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and Tennessee Dental Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Baker is married to the former Beverly Brown of Maryville, Tennessee. His hobbies and interests include snow skiing, jet skiing, race car driving, backpacking, playing guitar, and windsurfing.
